The Our Common Welfare Project provides training, guidance, and supportive services designed to prevent relapse and strengthen and sustain recovery among men and women overcoming drug and alcohol addiction. Our goal is to unite and strengthen the recovery community in new and innovative ways. OCW leads recovering individuals and the organizations that serve them to discover solutions within themselves through peer-to-peer recovery support! Project activities are planned and delivered by peers. Peer-to-peer recovery support services are just that: recovery support from people who've been there and are in a position to share their experience, strength, and hope in many ways.
OCW Services Are For: - Men and women in recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction, and who are residing in recovery housing (also known as halfway houses, three-quarter houses, sober living, or transitional living)
- Recovery home owners and staff
- Anyone dedicated to strengthening and sustaining recovery in Arizona is welcome to participate in OCW events
